So my cousins daughter goes to Central Catholic and she's been dating this guy for a while who looks like a helluva football player. I went over for a BBQ a couple weeks ago and he was telling me about some of the offers he was getting. He said everyone from Miami (FL), Alabama, LSU to Oregon. I was kind of wowed, I asked him who he's leaning towards and he said definitely the Ducks. But, that there's a lot of time left in the recruiting process since he's in the 2012 graduating class.

The kids physically is just a beast and has that "linebacker neck" that you can kind of decipher if you watch a ton of football. I asked him what his last name was, he told me it was Balducci. I went home and remembered to google him a couple days later. Come to find out he's a 5 star recruit for his class and has tons of great write-ups from everyone; Scout, Rivals, ESPN, Yahoo.

This would be a tremendous get if we could land this young guy. I guess he is just a terrorizer at Defensive End and would be a great get. I guess UO and UW are the only schools to officially offer him yet.

Here's a couple links to his profiles:

I'll try and keep you updated.

Balducci will probably be the top HS prospect in Oregon for the 2012. Oregon definitely need more depth on the D-line and a kid of this Caliber would go a long way.

Another guy to look out for is his teammate Brennan Scarlett who is a year older. He's a D-Lineman and is a 4 star recruit sought after by most Pac-10 schools.

Yeah he has been keeping recruiting pretty close to the chest but from what I've heard it's pretty much down to USC and us.

I used to play pick up basketball once a week with CC coach Steve Pyne. If you want, I can try and find out where the kids head is?

Very strong lean to Oregon if he keeps his grades in good shape.

You'd think you would want him to go play for Gonzaga!

Gonzaga hasn't had a football team for years. But, I beleive they still have a couple Hall of Famers...

BTW, I want Colt Lyerla. That kid looks like a beast.
