Either West team will win easy, we killed them this season. Shaq can't play at the Suns pace, he'll be too tired to go on after Game 2. Wade will be defended by Raja who will at least keep him below 70% shooting, lol. :happy0144: I would say Suns in 7 because they don't understand how to win sooner than that, and Dallas in 6 in the Finals, maybe even 5.</div>i still say they have a great series against either team.
Re: Heat going to the finals! I like the Heat and I think there can be some exciting games in the series and I hope the Suns will be in it. Just one thing that people don't realize is that the Suns had a pretty good defense with Kurt. Giving up 8 more points per game when he was gone made them look much worse. Also, not having him and being abused by Kwame Brown in Round 1.
Re: Heat going to the finals! Broken bone in foot. Still not 100% and not too good of an idea for this series since he can't run like he did earlier this season. I hope he gets a chance to play with us this season again and he will if we reach the Finals.
Re: Heat going to the finals! The suns would murder the heat, it's not funny. That is why i don't want the suns to beat dallas, because then there guarenteed the ring.

Re: Heat going to the finals! Congrats to the Heat. It is always great to see a young star in the League being in position to win one. His popularity will raise even more if he gets a ring and he will be known as great. I love witnessing that kinda stuff.Aside from that, The Heat played really well so credit to them. Shaq was dominate that whole series, except Game 5. He was great inside, getting garbage points like he usually does, just plain dominating inside. Flash was the key to their success though. He shot a very high percentage because he attacked the rim relentlessly. It's even more impressive when he was up against the Pistons all around defense. And of course guys like Payton, Williams, Walker, Posey, etc who help that team score points. Also, I dont know what's wrong with the Pistons, but they just arent able to score points these playoffs. And its not just Sheed. All of their starters werent able to help them score. Until next year I guess. I think this is the fall of the Pistons. Ben might not be back next year, and Sheed is getting old. They will be back for the ECF next year again, but I doubt they make the Finals again with that starting 5.
Re: Heat going to the finals! Congratulations Heat. I think they'll see Dallas in the Finals and it looks like that would either be a great series or be as bad and upsetting as the Heat pistons series.
Re: Heat going to the finals! <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Heatfan32 @ Jun 4 2006, 11:11 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Just like everyone said the Pistons would murder the Heat.</div>Not me,i called it in Januray that the heat would go to the finals. The suns just have too much pace and will throw shaq out of place.
Re: Heat going to the finals! I, for one, am very happy Miami has made it. But just like Shaq said, "Making it to the Finals does nothing for me." He is going to elevate his game in the Finals just like he did in Game 6 vs. Detroit. He knows basically: "I'm here, but this means nothing. We are going to win." He promised a championship to Miami, and I have no doubt in my mind he will get it done. But enough about Shaq, how about Wade or the former All-Stars in Payton, Walker, Zo? lol. Jason Williams, James Posey, Udonis Haslem, Pat Riley. All I can say to that roster is "damn."This Miami team has the will. And you know the saying: "If there's a will there's a way." Miami will get the job done. Shaq deserves a 4th ring, Wade deserves one, Payton/Zo both definitely deserve one. I hope Walker gets it. Riley deserves another one.I don't know who they will be playing in the Finals, but you bet your balls they will be ready for them.

The Heat give Shaq the damn ball, they dominate. Simple as that. I know Shaq wants Wade to shine, but this is your time Diesel
Re: Heat going to the finals! The series depends on the performance of Shaq.. Wade having a great game is a given.Shaq will do me good. Heat in 6 or less.
Re: Heat going to the finals! Congrats for the Heat but they are about to meet by far their toughest matchup. The mavs have beaten the Spurs and Suns so I don't see how the Heat are that much tougher or even as tough as those teams. We'll see though.
Re: Heat going to the finals! Watching the Heat play, despite not having the toughest of matchups, the Mavs only tough matchup was the Spurs. So going into this, this will be the Mavs 2nd toughest, and Heat's toughest imo. But no way would I rank Suns above Heat. Suns gave us matchup nightmares but they still aren't the Heat in terms of their talent. This is going to be a great Finals, and I hope Mavs come out on top.
Re: Heat going to the finals! Its gonna be a great matchup, but i\'m gonna have to go with the mavs here. They have a good offensive team with dirk, stack and many other players which makes this team very deep and they have a good defensive minded coach.Hes teaching this team how to play defense and they\'re becoming more diverse out of this. The Mavs have a top 5 player on there team and have a great player to move the ball of the court in Jaso terry and Devin Harris, they also have a great defensive center in Eric dampier, but they do have some down sides.Dirks D isn\'t too good and sometimes tends to be in consistent and chokes,Eric Dampier rarely makes a jump shot out of the paint area, Stackhouse is plainy just a stupid basketball player and after that the Mavs really don\'t have a problem. Now the Heat are a great team.They\'re very deep with Shaq,Wade and Willams, they also have a great supporting cast.Gary payton is a great veterain point guard and Walker has some playoff experince and has really been doing good in the playoffs this year.Haslems been doing regular in the playoffs.Hes scoring the same, shooting about the same and rebounding the same.Haslem really has to step up if he wants his team to win.Wade is doing beastly, hes trying to care these team head from toe and carry them to championship.Hes been trying his hardest on the court every nigth, making clutch baskets and doing it all to make his heat team win a ring.Shaqs been playing poorly.I have never seen him average 20 ppg in the playoffs ever in my life.Shaq needs to step up or else his team won\'t beat this mavs team, because the Mavs are very deep and can off on the Heat at any second and thats why i\'m picking the Mavs. The Mavs are a more energitic team and are more atheltic. The Heat just seem too old and really can\'t move the ball up the court as fast as the Mavs and keep up with the Mavs on the court. The Mavs are a very deadly shooting team and took down the defending champs with there diverse game.So i\'m taking the Mavs.

It's obvious whos going to be putting up the most points for there teams thats why I say the supporting cast is the x factor for each team. When Antoine Walker gets his 20 points we usually win, we could also use Gary's energy off the bench along with Zo's defensive abilities.I also think this series has the same scenario as the Detroit-Miami series. In my opinion, who ever wins game 6 will win the series. Game 7 is pretty much a lock for Dallas to win.

But I still am hoping/predicting Miami in 6. The roll players are the X-Factors in this series. Miami has no answer for Dirk and Dallas has no answer for Shaq and Wade. It's all up to guys like Antoine, GP, Zo, Posey, J-Will, Haslem for Miami and guys like Stack, Terry, DAMPIER, and Harris for Dallas. The roll players will decide this series, and hopefully the refs let this one play out a little more rather than basically calling a game.
