Same team? Maybe he can quit bitching about the BCS and realize Oregon is ahead of them in Human Polls as well.

It really sucks for BSU, and I feel their pain because we tend to get fucked over by the computers as well, but come on..... their conference isn't even remotely close to the level of talent or competition as the PAC 10. They might have a better argument when they finally move to a better conference, but until then, it's tough shit for them and their bid for a national championship.

I'd be surprised if the news didn't start reporting a collective lawsuit from all of the non-BCS schools about how it's impossible for such a school to qualify for the national championship game.

Maybe the writer should realize that college teams aren't remotely the same year to year, and that referring to last year's result and applying it to this year's teams is laughable and immediately discounts his entire argument.

If fans can't make that jump, why would writers? They're pretty much just fans with a voice.

Didn't TCU beat Boise in their 2008 bowl game? So doesn't that mean they were better in 2009 as well? Why did they even play the game last season? The 2009 BCS bowl game between the two should have been a TCU win no question.

Well, and the fact that the first game of the year is a good indicator of how well teams match up around bowl time.
