I believe that even at this time Wilt would be very dominant. His game was finesse and still had power. He was like a Yao Ming, except shorter, and black. He scored 100 points in a single game too. Some people say that when Bill Russel came to the league Wilt got dominated, but Wilt actually did better then Bill Russel. I think that the only person he would have trtouble is, is with Shaq, what do u think?

I would have to say Wilt, his sheer size was enough to take the players in those times out, now Wilt's skill would be a factor, but remember that Wilt in his rookie year averaged 37 ppg, and later he averaged 51, Wilt would still be the best Center even with Shaq, Big Ben, and Yao around now, and he IMO was better than russel.

I would say that comparing Wilt to Yao is an insult to the great man, and no I don't mean Ming.

Why do you say that about controversialy the best center in the game today. Standing 7'6" he can grab 10 or so rebounds a night. Sure Wilt got 30 but he had a much smaller crowd around him than the players today. I'm still saying Wilt is the best center in the game but it is comparable.

I don't think it's comparable. Wilt was just so strong, had long arms, and a good turnaround jumper. Yao couldn't guard him, and Wilt could push him far from the net. Yao would be a decent matchup, but certainly not better

it's hard to say because i wasn't around to see him play. but judging from his amazing statistics i think he would still be dominant and he would probably be just as good as shaq. there weren't many great centers back in the day but if you score 100 points in a game, average 50ppg and 27rpg, you're pretty special in my book. i think he would be just as great in todays game because there aren't many dominant centers today either besides shaq. some play center but they're really pf's.
