I love rooting for underdogs. That said, I would have rooted for either of these teams.....had they been playing the Yankees or the Phillies. So, I was in a relative quandary as to who to root for here, considering they're both, well, underdogs.

Did some thinking and have decided to root for the Rangers due to the A-Rod effect. I hate the Yankees and, for some reason, I'm pretty sure A-Rod would love to see Texas lose.

At any rate, that's the way I see it.

    Go Rangers!!

I'm an A's fan. That means I do NOT root for the Giants. I confess, I rooted for Atlanta (painfully, can't believe they still do that damn "tomahawk chop" crap) and Philly. In the AL I rooted for Tampa Bay & Minny in ALDS. Don't like Rangers but had to root against the Yankees, baseball's Lakers.

    But...

What can I say? San Francisco values vs. Bush League?

Texas oil billionaires are putting millions of dollars into defeating environmental regulations in California. Not enough to pollute their own damn state. Texas Republican platform calls for outlawing birth control, reinstating sodomy laws declared Unconstitutional by US Supreme Court, banning porn and closing strip clubs (good luck getting NBA free agents in Houston, San Antonio or Dallas!) in the name of small government.

Choice is clear. Got to go with San Francisco values. I mean, I do love San Francisco Ballet, and the Parade of course.

My workplace got some tix and is raffling them off, I entered. Of course, probably everyone in the company did as well.

Global Warming Final Solutions act will only kill more jobs and send them to business friendly states, such as Texas. Plus SF sucks, Doyers!

BTW, is it "wrong" to say Frisco? If so, I apologize to the offended.

ABM, the Texas Rangers have a minor league team in the town of Frisco, Texas. This is considered one more offense in San Francisco.

When you hear someone say Frisco you know they're from out of town lol. I think it bugs some people but for the most part its not wrong just a clear indicator that you're not from the Bay Area.

Yep (hence the Warriors throwback "The City" logo from back in the SF Warrior days).

Apparently street vendors have been selling them outside of AT&T park. Can't find anywhere online.

    A. Giants won't get swept.

    B. It is classic shirt that will be cool for years and Lincecum got arrested less than a mile for my house for possession. Its relevant around the Couve.

The best thing about it is that its even more applicable in the offseason.

You may regret purchasing it if CA makes weed legal in the election though. Then he will be allowed to smoke.

FWIW, they had sold out of the same shirt without the WS reference below.

nice. The WS reference doesn't really bother me.

The one I really want is the one I've seen with Lincecum's face holding joints and it says Tim Weedecum at the bottom.

BTW, when I was in high school we traveled to Bellevue to play Liberty high school where Lincecum went, he was 2 years older than me and I floated between JV and Varsity that year, fortunately for us, Lincecum didn't pitch that day.
