Chicago Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville said it was "too early to tell" if Blackhawks forward Marian Hossa was seriously injured in the Hawks 3-1 victory over the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday.

Hossa left the game after taking three shifts in the second period due to what Quenneville described as an "upper body" injury. Quenneville said Hossa would be re-evaluated on Thursday.

Hossa was off to a hot start with 11 points in the Hawks first 10 games. He had a delayed start to his season a year ago, while recovering from shoulder surgery.
