    Preseason
    Jazz 8-0
    Regular Season
    Jazz 0-1

I know it's one game, but how important is it really?
Looks like Utah turned OFF the switch while BROY has turned it ON!

Why are we still talking about the preseason? It's over.

To point out the fact that some people were basically writing off the entire season due to our preseason play.

I don't recall anyone who said that. I certainly didn't.

I am glad you pointed this out. Nothing wrong with "educating" a few people. Pre-season doesn't mean shit. Some teams (Usually the young ones) like to build confidence with their core players, other coaches just want to see all the players and get out of it healthy. The fact that the Jazz looked so good in preseason this year and so bad opening night is a good example. Of course that opeing night game in Denver doesn't mean shit either. It is a long season.

Based on that 8-0 pre-season record, the Utah Media was predicting mid- 50's for wins. I think they will eventually get it together, but 50+ will be tough. As I pointed out in another thread, Korver and Matthews were huge losses when you have a guy who looks like he 12 (hayward) and a guy who has lost a couple steps in Bell replacing them.

Either way works for me. Part of me goes along with the "let sleeping dogs lie" theory. But i hate OKC too.

Jazz fans were entertaing this morning jumping all over the team and Williams. (We will take him) But the most entertaining part was listening to the radio announcers argue which of them based their high expectations for the team the most on the 8-0 pre-season! "you said" "no you said" "But they were 8-0 in preseason"

The Jazz will be fine by the end of the year. Just not 56-57 wins like they thought. More like 46-47

Don't the Jazz under perform every season?

Shouldn't the Jazz be able to transfer their 8 preseason wins to the regular season, since they took the preseason superduperseriously and tried hard and stuff? Perhaps they could add a rider to David Kahn's appeal of the mean Blazers and how they allowed the TPup docs to pass Martell Webster in a physical.
