I watched the game last night and Vinnie had the team playing the Blazers tough through 3 1/2 quarters. The players did chuck up a lot of 3pt shots early in the clock and had a ton of turnovers. On the other hand, the Blazers are a much better team with overall better talent and they play defense extremely well.

    Just an observation.

You know you look at the Clips roster: Why aren't they a contender to challenge LA and Portland. They have one of the best front lines in the league and a good mix of experience and youth. Eric Gordon is a good player. Baron Davis could be a good player. I mean, just looking at their roster you would think they are one of the best teams in the league.

I watched the game too and thought it interesting how Blake Griffin was frozen out in the 2nd half .

That kid is a lion . Get him the damn ball.

He's got it all ...but the biggest thing he's got is heart.

My only reservation about him is he is going to kill himself out there before people realise just how incredible he might be.

The most dominant big to ccome to the league since Dwight Howard.

    There . I said it.

Like the Bulls, they have 4 solid positions and a massive black hole at SF.

On the brighter side, they look a bit more suited to Vinny's "style".

And yeah, it was like they got together at halftime and decided they didn't want to give the glory to the new kid. It was icky.

They're nowhere deep enough at the bigs positions to beat Boston or LA or even Portland in a 7 game series.

This was Vinnie's first game as their coach. Like with the Bulls, I wouldn't be surprised if his team makes the playoffs and falls short.

Griffin was great on the offensive end, but he and Kaman were ineffective at keeping the Blazers (minus Przybilla and Oden no less) off the offensive glass.

I really like how Vinnie has "coached up" Blake Griffin.

I like how good players can make a bad coach look good, but when that bad coach has mostly bad players and still wins, who deserves the credit?

I'm not buying this. Or if this is an excuse now, it shouldn't be in two months. Deandre Jordan is fine as a third big. I actually like his game quite a bit. Kaman, Griffin, Jordan is a better rotation than Perkins, the O'Neals, and Big Baby now, and it will only prove to be more so as Griffin and Jordan get more playing experience.

Gasol, Odom, Bynum is better than the Clips starting bigs and will continue to be so for at least this season. But I'm saying the Clips should be third or fourth best team in the West, not the best.
