Isn't it amazing how many of Kevin Love's coaches "don't know what they're doing". The parallels with Sergio continue.
It says his coach is a complete joke. Nothing more and nothing less. This is the same genius that tried to force the triangle offense on a team that was built to be point guard dominated. Sorry, but if your argument is that Rambis did it so there must be a valid reason then your argument is fatally flawed.
Supposedly this was because Love jacked up too many 3's. He shot 1.8 of them last year at a 33% clip and shot 3 of them vs. the Kings in 23+ minutes.
I think my Kevin Love is Pops Mensah-Bonsu. He puts up ridiculous numbers every time he gets minutes. Then he gets waived within a week. He must not be able to remember plays or something.
you act as this has been some sort of theme throughout love's career which really confuses me. he is just starting his 3rd year in the nba. he has had 3 different coaches(none of which have had any kind of success of head coaches in the nba). in his first two nba seasons, he saw reasonable minutes considering his ability and his team's roster. this year he has played in one game and it seemed like he didn't get enough minutes.
How dare you insinuate that this man can't coach. I mean, sure he tried to install the triangle offense with two pick and roll point guards who can't shoot from outside with Sessions and Flynn, and a pure low block scorer in Al Jefferson instead of a high post player surrounded by solid outside shooters and wings who can pass, but is that his fault he didn't have the personnel to fit into his dream system? Oh? It was his fault? Nevermind.
http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=301029016 12 minutes: 13 points, 9-10 from the line, 8 boards +11 plus/minus Turrible so far ...
I've watched most the game, he's been straight up beasting. I wish he played for a system that utilized his outlet passing ability.
Well, I'm sure we could pry him away from Minny for a point guard. Maybe they'd do Love for Armon Johnson.
