he extends with SA http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/69846/20101030/tony_parker_extends_with_spurs/
Seems like a mistake to me. I think San Antonio is pretty much done in terms of challenging for a Championship, and once Duncan is gone that team is toast. Parker is not the star that Duncan is, and TP/Ginobili isn't enough to keep that team relevant. That team is desperately in need of a make-over.
Unless Splitter can translate to the NBA - if he can, they have Parker/Hill/Splitter. Not a bad set of pieces for the next 3-5 years.
That's a good point. Splitter is injured right now, which sucks because I really wanted to see how good that guy is (and hes' on my fantasy team).
never understood why we wanted parker. hes getting old, hes seems hes hurt a lot. we need youth to compete with okc. devin harris.
Devin Harris - Feb 27, 1983 Tony Parker - May 17, 1982 What are you going to do with that extra year of "youth"?
lets just say parker is hurt just a bit more... jesus when did parker debut? seems like hes playing since sheed was a blazer
Parker has missed an avg of 8 games per season for 9 years, Harris has missed an average of 14 games per season for 6 years. Over the last 3 years they've both played in 197 regular season games, and Parker has played in an extra 32 playoff games.
But Parker must be worn out from all the wild sex with Eva Longoria.... which makes Devin Harris the better option.
