Warriors guard Stephen Curry re-injured his right ankle in the third quarter of the team's win over the Clippers on Friday night. Curry left the game and did not return. He originally hurt the ankle in the preseason. "It's more rehab; that's all that means," Curry said. "Just got to be smart about it now and try to get it back to 100 percent and get it stronger so that even if I do step on somebody's foot I can recover. We'll find out tomorrow and see how it reacts." http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=301029009
I think he'll be good. He was able to stand up on it and walk out to the lockers. He probably won't be as nimble with the ball, but there are other ways to initiate offense other than with the ball. That's why I like having David Lee, Reggie Williams and D Wright on the team. They look to pass to guys moving without the ball. If we contrasted that with teams of the past with run n' gun offense it'd be 1 on 5 ball. I also love how we go to the post, even if it's a guy like Biedrins or Gadzuric in the pivot. It keeps opposing defenses honest and it allows for guards to move off the ball for better shots.
