    I had a feeling when Mizzou and MSU fell that the Ducks might move up enough in the computers to overtake them, but I didn't want to get my hopes up. So freakin awesome.

    Wow. As a long time Duck fan...seeing them #1 is unbelievable. But I can't say I'm surprised; this is the most talented Duck team I've ever had the privilege to watch.

    Four more!!! And trust me, none of them will come easy. USC was a big win, but these Ducks got some work left to do. Still, I have a lot of confidence in this team :)

    I almost posted my projections, but then I was a little early last week and got surprised at the way LSU, Missouri and MSU leapfrogged in the computers.

    So I was a little hesitant to post my projected #1 rankings not knowing if something else screwy was going to come up or if the probation by USC was somehow going to lessen the fact of how good they are and how impressive that win was on the road against a powerhouse team like that. So it's good to know the computers got it right. It's now finally official.

    The hard game out of the way and pretty easy games leading up to the Civil War. Should be a good one.
