WHOA, youre right. I dont expect Payton to play next year, and maybe Zo will retire, and the Heat will be average at best. The Pistons are on the decline sadly, older players, not a good bench and a 30 year old center who could leave after this year. The East sucks, thats the easiest way to say it i guess. Its up for the taking next year.

Hopefully the Mavs and Suns can each take 5 championships this decade. [IMG] And you know what? I thought the East would make a huge improvement and be equal to the West this year. [IMG]

yeah, if the Heat dont win this year, thats it. After this year we are going to be a good team but obviously not as good as we are now. After this year we will be older and almost everyone will be on the decline(excluding Haslem and Wade). We have tons of bad contracts so money will be a problem and not too many promising young players. If the Heat dont win it this year, the nxt couple of years could be bad for this team. So I hope the Heat win, but Dallas will be a tough opponent

Dirk will also be pretty good. Nobody can guard him on that team...

I say Miami in Game 6 but I honestly don't know for sure. But I definitely know that this series will be back and forth between these two teams. They will both play their hearts out and in the end, the better team will come out strong. It will be a hard fought battle but I hope that Miami comes out on top.

Howard has done an amazing job on Wade so far as well as getting his shots in. Great prediction so far Waqas. Heat shooting 71% after first quarter.

It looks like Griffin is guarding Wade right now. Wade is just driving all over the Mavs, and they cant do anything about it. Shaq hasn't done much. Jason Williams and Walker are shooting the ball well so far too. For the Mavs, nothing is going well offensively. They need to come back and get back in the game offensively quickly, or else the Heat have Game 1.

Terry is on fire. 9-11 shooting. 20 points in the 1st half. The Mavs are undefeated in the playoffs when Terry scores 20+, atleast thats what my brother told me. .

I think this game is about over, Terry has been spectacular for Dallas the entire game. Most of Dallas fans predictions were wrong though, Dirk hasn't done nothing and so much for Howard containing Wade.Shaq hasn't been given the ball thats why hes lacking points but he hasn't had much trouble either. The real credit here goes to the Mavs backcourt, they've played great defense and hit lots of good shots.I'll leave it at 0-1 Miami, nicely done Dallas. Also something I noticed during the game, TO showed up with a Heat jersey, that sounds very unproffesional of TO.

Well, the Heat just cut the lead back down to six in less than a minute. Terry missed that fastbreak lay-up, and the Heat made a great defensive play and got 4 easy points off of Shaq's dunks.T.O. showed up in a Heat jersey because he is very good friends with Shaq... but he was also wearing a Mavericks' hat and some blue bracelets I think. I don't think it's that unprofessional... it's not like he plays for or is employed by the Mavericks.

He plays for the Cowboys and I don't think it's right for you to do that to city you play for. Heat have made a good comeback but I don't think we can pull it off. The incosistency on offense has killed us, this game can still go either way though.

The Heat had their chances, but they really couldn't break through when it mattered most. They're down 7 with about two minutes left... they still have a shot, but we'll see what happens.I don't make much of a deal out of the T.O. thing though... it just doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me, especially considering he never really said anything deragatory about the Mavericks or the city of Dallas. Now... when he wore a Michael Irvin jersey when he was with the Eagles, that was unprofessional considering the Cowboys and Eagles are bitter divisional rivals.

I only caught a little bit of this game. From what I saw Udonis Haslem did an awesome job guarding Dirk. Great win for the Mavs.

Whoooo we win. Pretty surprizing considering Dirk was off. Terry seems like he's back to his shooting form, good time for it to be back. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I think this game is about over, Terry has been spectacular for Dallas the entire game. I don't think Waqas represents what Mavs fans want. I wanted Griff on him, and he did a good job on him at times, but he's still Wade and sometimes there's nothing you can do. Too bad Griff's offense was sub par and he became a liability. Watching tonight though, I think were clearly going to win the free throw and rebounding. Damp/Diop did a nice job rebounding and not allowing 2nd chance opportunities. Wtf? Did you delete the poll thread when I was putting in my post?

Dallas played great defense all game and Terry was just incredible, no one was able to keep up with him, he took the game under control for the Mavs and got a huge win with Nowitzki struggling. As for Shaq, he started out real well, but we just didn't get it to him as much as we should have down the streach. Wade played good and Walker too knocking down a few threes and getting in the lane, but it wasn't enough. Obviously next game we're going to have to find away to contain Terry and hope we can hold Dirk as well as we did tonight. Anyways, I congrat Dallas on the win, but it is only game 1, still a ways to go, hopefully now we can come in and steal one in Game 2.
