Armon Johnson: 10 points, 5 assists on 4/4 shooting including 2/2 from three

I also just love his game and how he looks out there. I think his shot looks good enough were it can become somewhat consistent too.

I had a midterm during the game so I didn't get a chance to see it, but it sounds like Nate really put a lot of trust in him to put him out there for 22 minutes. Good for him.

Loved Armon Johnson tonight, I think, I hope, I pray he's our PGOTF. First time I've really seen it in someone.

Not just Nate. Miller actually was about to go into the game while Johnson was playing well, and Miller said "leave him in coach."

I was impressed by the Bucks announcers, no bias at all. Also impressed by LMA and Armon!

That is nice. I seen it live, but still watched it 5 or 6 times.

Miller himself had some nice dimes too, a few bullet passes into the paint for easy layups I was very happy to see.

Armon has a lot of promise. It will be interesting to see how he develops over the course of the year. I like him though.

Hopefully he develops into a Greg Anthony type of player (solid but not spectacular shooter, lock down defender). If he can, I can see him getting a lot of minutes, especially late in games.

I think he has a higher ceiling than Greg Anthony. As much as I loved Anthony, he wasn't the greatest passer, and he was pretty much only a deep shooter on offense. His game was defense and shooting. Steve Blake with solid 'D'. I think Johnson could be much more than that.

I keep trying to remind myself not to get too far ahead of myself ith this kid, but there's just something about him that I really like and it's based on exactly the same kind of poise and intelligence I saw flashes of in Summer league where he didn't exactly blow you away with his boxscore stats, but your eyes tell you he could be a player. Hopefully the shot rounds into form and he keeps on making the neccessary adjustments. That he sppears to be an apt pupil able to learn from a really good pure point like Miller doesn't hurt either.

What I like about Armon Johnson is not only can he get to the basket but he can finish when he gets there, unlike our old pal Telfair who couldn't. Helps that Armon has great size for a PG.

If he can continue to improve his 3pt shot the Blazers have found themselves a big steal. I hope McMillan keeps his minutes at 15+ now so we can see how long he can continue this. No need to stop now.
