Cuban said replays show that referees missed a backcourt violation against Dwyane Wade at the start of his final drive to the basket. The Dallas owner also believes Wade fouled the Mavericks' Jason Terry before drawing the contact that led to his winning free throws with 1.9 seconds left.Dallas star Dirk Nowitzki, who ended up being charged with the foul on Wade's drive, said he thought "Dwyane pushed off like three guys to get to the basket."After Wade made another free throw following the timeout, Dallas guard Devin Harris missed a desperation heave. When the buzzer sounded, the Mavericks unleashed their anger.Cuban, who was wearing the jersey of suspended forward Jerry Stackhouse, ran onto the court and screamed at official Joe DeRosa, then went to the scorer's table and stared down NBA commissioner David Stern and other league officials. Cuban then went up the tunnel toward their aisle and kept screaming and staring.http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ap-n...ov=ap&type=lgns

According to my understanding, if a team takes a timeout, they are allowed the throw the ball into the backcourt, as the Heat did.And this ref stuff is really stupid. Has it ever occured to anyone that maybe, just maybe, the Heat were just more agressive on the drive than the Mavs? And that was the reason they had so many free throws? I mean, come on, everyone blames the refs now. Have you ever heard of a fair and square win?

[IMG]I saw that pic but thats a bad angle and besides the refs should have swallowed their whistles at a time like that

You guys are missing the point. I commend the refs for being consisitient all night long. From the first foul by Haslem, we saw how tight the game was being called. Wade saw it, and attacked the rim all game long and got 25 ft's as a result. Where was Dirk? Hasnt he changed his game about him attacking the hoop?He should had seen this as well and gone to the rim with force and would had been at the FT line.

The Heat stole one from the Mavs. They should have won it the way they were playing. Dirk didnt get it going until the 2d half/OT WTF??? he should have been out there scoring from the start. Thankfully the JET and Howard helped us but it wasnt enough. Refs made a few bad calls that cost us the game. But hey, what can you do know. Its over, now its on to game 6 and 7, where the Mavs will have to win both. I am confident that they will, but it will be hard.

I keep seeing the instant replay and Dirk didn't touch Wade.
Referee's aren't paid to keep FT's even, the Heat went to the basket more and thus deserved more FT attempts. Stop being babies.

dwyane wade is unbelievable. he had such a horrible shooting game in the first 3 quarters but still managed to get over 20 in those first 3 quarters by getting to the line. he hit big shot after big shot once again down the stretch. he is playing amazing basketball right now on basketballs biggest stage, the nba finals. this truly a special player. he was getting to the basket whenever he wanted and hitting key jumpers. people talk about his outside shooting and he was hitting them last night when it counted most. i really thought dallas had the game though. dirk and terry were hitting key shots as well and i believe dirk hit that jumper with shaq in his face with 9 seconds left. this is one of the best finals i have seen in a really long time. much better than the boring pistons-spurs finals or any finals in the past few years with the spurs in it. heat and mavs, such a good matchup. i think it's goin 7 games tho now. i think dallas should be inspired by their home crowd. it seems like forever since they were home. they should come away with the win in game 6.GO MIAMI!!!!!!!!

Look, Dirk did change his game, and I'm not sure what happened to him. He was still pretty clutch, though...I just wish the refs were a little better....but they WILL be better in Game 6 [IMG].Watch it happen.Dallas is more resilient than Miami, so it's only logic [IMG].

I wish some Kings playes would take a leaf out of Wade's book and drive to the hole when their shots aren't falling. Wade isn't Jordanesque. He is Wadesque.
