Has anybody thought about the possibility of Durant being worn out and tired? I mean he did log a ton of minutes this summer, piggy backing that Team USA team on the back of his frail 6'11" 185lb body.

If he was built more like LeBron I'd be less concerned. But, this looks like an exhausted Durant.

Good point. How much did he bench press in the pre-draft workout again?

OK, OK. Don't want to be called a "hater" out fo the blue. I just couldn't resist the reference of carrying weight and the sudden memory I had of those pre-draft workout numbers being almost the legendary memory of that draft year's pre-draft workout.

I would expect him to be tired in March, but the first 4 games of the season? Not sure how much the OKC coaching staff ran him in preseason, but he should not be tired yet. He should have been resting in Sept/Oct. But I agree that eventually it should take its toll on him.

Look at how much energy the guys exerts every time he steps on the court. He's not like most players, he's long, but extremely weak. I swear, a good gust of wind might blow him away someday.

So I am going to throw this out there, because it happens. A lot of years when players do not get any time off, and go and play in international play, they suffer the season after because they do not get any recuperation in the off season. I have seen it happen many times.

I don't doubt it is a factor. Especially for guys who play until the end of June. But Durant could have taken 2 months off before the July practices. Then another month before the season. He probably didn't, but he could have.

I still expect him to get at least 30 tonight.

Yea I am expecint about 30 out of him too. Unless we can somehow bother him like Kirlilenko did the other night.
