You're from some sort of alternate universe.

The Bulls won against Portland on 70 shots. The pace of this game was a lot faster. You need offensive players to take advantage of it.

The Bulls also shot .606 and .385 from 3pt while Portland didn't make a 3pt shot.

Against Detroit, the Bulls held them to .378 shooting and had to rally from a 21 point deficit to win. Against a team on the 2nd night of a back to back on the road.

In both those wins, we had a guy score 39 or 40 points.

Even though we lost, I felt good about our team when the game was finished.

1). I thought our defensive intensity and execution was very good the second half. I felt like I was watching the Skiles-era Bulls.

2). Luol Deng looks like he's genuinely gone to a new level with his 3-pt shot. I remember one play where stepped up and hit a three with a guys hand in his face and without much time to shoot. At no point in his career prior to now do I think he would have done something similar.

3). When Boozer comes back I think our frontcourt will be good enough to win a championship with. Not as top heavy as Orlando, but Boozer and Noah should be great compliments, and Taj and Asik are both quietly impressive. Once Asik gets a little more acclimated to the NBA game, I think he can easily spot start for extended stretches.

4). I thought Thibs made the right choice with keeping our bench in the game down the stretch. They did a good job of getting us back into the game, and developing confidence in your second team seems to be a quality that most very good teams have.
