    I read your post wrong.

Roy's played in the league for 4 years, I'm sure he'll win a playoff series before Randolph ever does. That was my original point.

Roy will do so because he has better teammates.

Right. Gay, Gasol, Conley and Mayo are good enough teammates to make it to the playoffs, at the very least.

It's a mental issue. He went to a psychologist in the summer and he probably messed with his head. Thought it could make him a better leader, well, it looks like the shrink's advice was to be the worst player on the court in order to gain respect...
Also, I didn't like how we were playing Batum, Mathewss, LMA, Camby and Roy. That's pure bull-shit from Nate, trying to make Roy feel better. Well, you know what Nate, we should have gone with Armon instead of Roy and we would be blowing the game open. you know what #2 - Mcmillan should take leadership lessons if he thinks the way to bring Roy back to form is playing him when he shouldn't be playing. thus, hurting the team.

After the latest surgery I was one of the first to say that I think Roy breaks down in 2 years. Others criticized that comment, but I still think the tread is awfully thin. This could be the Phoenix version of Penny Hardaway. Roy's injury was obviously not as bad, but he has had a lot of knee surgeries and his game is built on change of pace under control. I think you need some semblence of a meniscus to keep that type of game going. I think he may be easing his way back now, but I think it's not a bad idea to try to move Roy now before he breaks down.

    I agree with this.

The amount of pressure put on Roy will shorten his career pretty significantly.

Every other team in the NBA knows this as well. Another reason why actually trading Roy is impossible.

A better idea would be to lessen his load so he doesn't end up like D-Wade 2 years ago.
