<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>I haven't seen too many Andrew Bogut's on the top then list.</div>Well Bogut will be on this list in the future but this year he only got 9 points and 7 boards per game. He's just not doing enough right now to be in my top ten. In a year or two he should be top ten and after that he'll probably be top 5
Many people are forgetting Magloire. He gets rebounds, bangs inside, plays defense, and scores you 14 points. I would put him over Curry, Kaman and Okur easily :happy0144:
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (ArizonaFan @ Jun 5 2006, 11:07 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>In my opinion Yao isn't even close defensively. He is too slow. Camby is shorter but gets 2 more rebounds and 2 more blocks per game, as well as a steal. I'm way more impressed watching Camby play D. Yao can score more and that's his only advantage. He is a better offensive player but I believe Camby is better at D. And I think that Camby is a lot closer to Yao's offense than Yao is to his defense. That's just my opinion. I think it can definetly be debated. Yao isn't much much better than Camby, but he may have the edge since Camby is injury prone. Also, talking about who is a center and who's not...If Mehmet has played center for a while he can be considered a center. Also, centers that are short can also be called centers if that's their position and they played like one. Charles Barkley was 6'4 or 6'6, is he a shooting guard, no... height doesen't really mean much. Kurt is a center, Mehmet is a center.</div>camby is nowhere near yao offensively. you can say the same for yao defensively too. but all camby has on offense is an offensive rebound, and an inconsistant outside jumper. yao has all the post-moves. w/ a jumper to match.if you ask anyone who KNOWS the nba, they would take yao over camby.

Okur 3rd? You've got to be kidding me? He doesnt bang inside, he doesnt play defense, he just shoots the ball, thats how he gets his points. Having him over guys like Ben Wallace, Marcus Camby, Big Z, Brad Miller, etc. is just a joke.
Yeah, considering you probably never watched Mehmet Okur play this year....He averaged 18/9 a game, was very consistant and a improved defender this year. He has nice post moves along with a good perimeter shot that stretches the defense.

He scores pretter well for a center too and that's just why I pick him.

That's a pretty solid top 10 Mixx. I disagree with some, but I can understand why you put everyone there.
Mehmet Okur averaged 18/9 a game, he's definatly better than Brad Miller, Chris Kaman and Jamaal Magloire.
BCB ^ Yes he did but I dont think he is better then them. And thank you ArizonaFan. I putted the players that I think whos the best to worse.
I just dont think he is better so yeah I will stick with my Top 10 like you did with yours and I wont change it sorry BCB.

Take Marcus Camby. He will give you 16, 11 or 12 boards, 2 blocks and play outstanding defense and bang inside. Camby>Okur easily. Along with guys like Big Z, Brad Miller and some others..
