Earlier this morning I was going to post that we can still beat them without Aso but decided not to jinx it lol. We beat em without Aso, Zach Miller, and Louis Murphy. Pulled it out of our ass but on the same token we also gave them that lead at the end with the muffed punt and having no challenges left.

Awesome win though considering we were without some of our best players. Now we've got the bye week to get these guys healthy. Jacoby Ford also had a HUGE game and looked excellent plus Schilens (remember this fuggin guy?) is supposed to be back after the bye week. If hes still not healthy we really should consider cutting him. Hes a decent receiver but shit hes ALWAYS fuggin injured. If Ford keeps it up I'm ok with Murphy/DHB/Ford with McFad, Bush, Marcell Reese out of the backfield and of course Zach Miller. Now that I think about it we should just cut Jonnie Lee Higgins since Ford did more today than hes ever done and not only is he a crappy WR he is no longer a factor on special teams.

Only a half game out of first place now. Too bad KC has a ridiculously easy schedule. They had the easiest schedule up to this point this season (opponent 0.35 rating- the only one in the league that was sub .40) and their remaining schedule is @ Den, vs. Ari, @ Sea, vs. Den, @ SD, @ St. Louis, vs. Ten, vs. Oak. We have a bye then @ Pit, vs. Miami, @ SD, @ Jax, vs. Den, vs. Indy, @ KC. I think we have the better team as we were a Seabass fuck up away from being 6-3 right now and we've really started putting it together the last few weeks. Today's game was close but KC isn't awful and we were without Aso, Miller, Murphy, Gradkowski, etc. I think we're the better team so maybe if we get lucky and KC drops some games we might have a shot. @ Pit is rough and vs. Indy will be tough but the other games are winnable. Odds are probably against us though, SD aint completely out of it yet either.

Dare I say SD is back?

Oakland and KC have to be shitting their pants. Rivers' is tearing the league up with practice squad WR's.

Besides the Chargers' record, does anyone have an argument as to why Rivers isn't the mid-season MVP?

    1) Mid-season MVP isn't a real award.

    2) The Chargers are 4-5.

He's on pace to break Marino's passing record. The Chargers look like they're on the comeback...

We're comin' for ya, Oakland ;]

That's ok. Raiders have beaten all 3 AFC West teams so far, Chargers have lost to the 2 they have played :).

Oakland should be 6-3 from that Arizona game, we haven't played this well in years. Just to be in the thick of things brings back awesome memories and rival games.

The only reason Oakland is playing well is because the Patriots have their pick.

Also, Rivers is definitely the midseason MVP.
