    Seems like it hasn't been so long since Conan was dishonorably evicted from The Tonight Show. His new gig starts on Tuesday. Here is the guest list for the first week:

    Monday: Seth Rogan, Lea Michele, performance by Jack White
    Tuesday: Tom Hanks, Jack McBrayer, performance by Soundgarden
    Wednesday: Jon Hamm, Charlyne Yi, performance by Fistful of Mercy
    Thursday: Michael Cera, Julie Bowen, performance by Jon Dore

    Pretty fun show. The cold opening was funny--perhaps not as good as his running 'cross country bit when he started The Tonight Show. The song at the end with Jack White was good. Seeing The Masturbating Bear was nice since that was the most talked about character to carry over to the new show. However I thought Seth Rogan was a lame first guest (the guy is not funny without a script) and Lea Michele had almost nothing to offer. Tonight's show (no pun intended) should be a lot better.

    So far so good. Conan's ratings were higher than Leno and Letterman's by about 750,000 people not counting the TiVo crowd.
