NFL football betting players have been watching one of the most entertaining seasons in recent history, and little of it has to do with what happens on the field. In the NFC, two teams that were favored to go to the Super Bowl have come under fire for poor play, and it seems to be a matter of time before their coaches gets the boot. Who will last the longest? Dallas The Cowboys are 1-7 after an embarrassing 45-7 loss in Green Bay, and it wasn’t that they lost: better teams than Dallas have been routed at Lambeau Field before. But the fact of the matter is that they quit on Wade Phillips, and it seems like everyone except for Jon Kitna and Dez Bryant gave 100%. Online football betting players heard owner Jerry Jones state after the game that there would be consequences for players and coaches, and you have to think that it’ll start with Phillips, who has lost the locker room, it seems. The players say they’re still playing hard, but that’s an insult to anyone who knows football. Minnesota Where to start? The 3-5 Vikings picked up Randy Moss from New England after Week 4 for a third-round pick, only to release him after a Week 8 loss, ironically, in New England (Moss is now in Tennessee). There has been Brad Childress’ handling (or mishandling, depending on who you speak to) of the Brett Favre situation where it seems that the quarterback has more say than the coach, and then during last week, Childress and receiver Percy Harvin apparently had to be separated before they came to blows during practice. The Vikings managed to stage a late rally to beat Arizona 27-24 in overtime due to another Favre comeback, but that may have only delayed the inevitable. Prediction If you’re making NFL predictions, you would have to say that Childress is favored to keep his job until the end of the season. Winning will keep him in his place for another week, although that’s not said with confidence. If what really happened between Harvin and Childress is true, that is something that simply cannot happen (Childress reportedly accused Harvin of milking a shoulder injury). As for Phillips, he may not even be the Cowboys’ coach by the time you read this article. Dallas seems to have tuned him out, and a change has to be made to shake up this team, which has far too much talent to be as bad as they are. The injury to Tony Romo hurts, but the Cowboys were bad before that. If this were a sports betting prop, you would have to bet against Wade Phillips.
