This team is growing up right before our eyes. Rose's game has evolved in just 5 games, and he --as is Thibs-- is adjusting to what the other teams are giving him. I like the premise of understanding the D before making these changes. Next game can be had with Boozer back as well. One thing's for sure, thank god we never signed Joe Johnson. That would have set this franchise back 4 years.
Hard to capitalize on double teams when your SG sucks; your SF is playing like crap, you have a PF who is better suited to a backup role, and a center who is an energy type of guy.....
hmm, in the Celtics game he wasn't even finding open guys, though. He would get double and triple teamed and still try to score.
No I read it. It seemed like a Rose fan trying to make excuses. It would be one thing if he was finding guys and they were failing. He's not even giving them a chance to fail because he's too busy taking the ball into the teeth of the defense.
