Hurricanes vs. OilersDoes anybody even care? The first two games are on the Outdoor Life Network, it's pathetic. I wish the NHL would smarten up and put the games on the USA network or some network. I don't even get OLN with my crappy cable set up that I have. It doesn't even start going on NBC until the third game. The NHL needs to make some changes. After a full season of a lockout they should have been advertising the sh*t out of the league coming back and I think they had maybe one comercial and oh yeah...they put Thank You Fans! underneath the ice at some of the arenas around the country. Thanks for what? Thanks for still caring about a league filled with idiotic owners and dumb expansion teams. The Bruins are next to dead in Boston...which was once in a hockey town. I love college hockey, it's so much better than the NHL. But I was a big Bruins fan at one point, I'd like to see hockey climb back into the ranks of professional sports. The MLL will surpass the NHL at some point if they don't pick up the slack.
I don't care at all. I find Hockey to be the most boring sport in the world, because you can't tell the difference between players. It looks like a bunch of clones skating around, chasing after a puck
Ever since Wings got out, I went to the Sabres bandwagon. They are out, so I don't care.Eh, Go Oilers.
I frankly dont give a sh*t about hockey anymore, I stopped watching it after the lockout happened and I never got back in it.
It's disappointing, there was once a time in my life where I could name every Boston Bruin, I think I can only name about four or five of them now.
Americans = Don't like the cold Americans = Don't like Canada Americans = Are moving to the west/southern coasts Americans = Moving out of northern/eastern cities Americans = In general don't ice skate = Americans don't care about hockey
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>= Americans don't care about hockey</div>This coming from somebody from Wisconsin who's state university just won the national championship to a sold out crowd in Milwaukie Wisconsin. Americans do care about hockey it's just the people running the biggest hockey league in the world (or what used to be) just plain suck at it. They have no idea what their doing and they should all take a page out of the NFL, NBA, or MLB notebook...they don't do any type of league advertising and their marketing department could be better run by a four-year old.

I couldn't care less. The cup has sort of lost its glory after this past lockout. Apperently the attendance and ratings and all of that is up, but it hasn't shown in the finals.
I like going to hockey games and I watch it on TV every now and then but I really don't care too much for it because I really don't know many of the players on my hometown team after the lockout. Back in their Stanley Cup years I loved watching it and going to games, but since then it's seemed as if the league's just kind of dull.
