Same as above, but in 225. I bought tickets before the Oden draft b/c I knew I could start going to games. They were 24 per ticket. Last year (due to a "mistake" in Sales) I didn't get playoff tickets, after being a full STH for 4 years. AND they said the price would be 49 per ticket for this season.

The current incarnation of this team and customer service "mistakes" like that aren't worth me spending $5000 and driving 7 hours to see some games. If I really want to see a game, I'm pretty sure I can find a ticket. And I'm one of the lucky ones who can get Comcast and League Pass.

Well to be honest, a lot of teams were part of those sellouts, yet if you went to the game, you were questioning if it was a sell out if you know what I am saying.

oh yeah I'm sure that those "sell outs" had included promotional tickets they gave away, that werent even taken by whomever. Sad that its come to those still being left over. Not being able to give them away.

thats true. But I bet they could have kept getting away with the price increases had the team gelled like hoped, and injuries didnt take a toll etc. But yeah no way in hell I feel like spending $35 a pop for nosebleed last row seats in the Regular season. Go F yourself Vulcans if you think I'll pay that.

Not sure what the big deal is. There's probably a handful of teams that sell out games. The fact the Blazers do it consistenly is pretty remarkable. The Heat aren't even selling out games. I see no reason for concern.

There never is a reason for concern until you get Seattle SuperSonic'd. :NOTMARIS:

I don't understand what Comcast has to do with people not knowing there's a game tonight...

I also don't understand the comcast issue. If more people got it on comcast, or on dish or whatever, that might be even fewer people that would go. Because you can't see some games means you refuse to go to others?

Not being concerned means less hits to the website and less listeners and callers to his radio show.

Sometimes i really wish we had a 2nd pro team in the region, so the local media wouldn't be so god damn idiotic.

I think we have a bunch of pathetic "fans" in here that can't handle being first in the Northwest.

I suggest Allen take it another step, and refund half of the gate he's already collected this season.

This is a quality thread, guys.

I don't live in Portland and I'm less concerned about attendance and the popular mood around the team than many here, but I am interested to hear about what is impacting even hard core fans (because, let's face it, we're al pretty hard core if we post here regularly).

I look forward to having more evidence about KP's dismissal... that'll be either when he gets a new job or he gets hired for a lesser job, I think.

So, uh, looking at the boxscore, I see that 20, 500+ people attended tonight's game...

Hey, look at that - that place was full once again. Who cares if they offered up half-price tickets to previous mailing list customers? Has anyone been watching the NBA this season? The Indiana-Denver game tonight drew less than half capacity in a basketball crazy city. Miami isn't selling out with the Big 3. Portland still is in a small market.

Maybe people are sick of the NBA and their bullshit.
