This guy looks like the class clown. I have always thought he has stunk when i watched him. Im really wondering why in gods name he ever got a roster spot. He seems like more of a personality then a player. Just my opinion but it seems like hes on the roster for pure cheerleading and entertainment. He is awful when he does play.

Once Przy and Oden get back, he'll be the 14th man, with Elliott Williams only at 15 because of injury.

Sadly, I agree. His biggest contribution so far has been his Patty Cakes show to trailblazers.tv. But at least he's a healthy body for practice, and he's the 15th man anyway, so why rag on the guy?

It is funny to remember that there were several debates on this forum about whether to keep Mills or Armon. I'm proud to say that I thought it was a no-brainer to keep Armon, and I still don't understand why we kept Mills.

probably a good locker room guy, light hearted, helps the team gel on that level.

Patty should have been cut a long time ago.

But I'll look on the bright side: At least he's not playing.

Patty Mills can play. He's been TERRIBLE so far in very limited minutes, but he is a heck of a shooter and is very fast.

I'm not sure that he's a good fit under Nate, but I think he's a pretty legit NBA player in spite of being terrible so far this season.

I'm still waiting to see the confident Patty Mills that dropped 20 pts on CP3 and Deron in the Olympics a few years ago.

Some say Patty Mills is the broken part of Oden's patella and people in Idaho whisper his name in awe. All we know, he's called the Stig.

    Yes, and no.

He's also another body for practice.

I think this is an accurate summation.

I've wanted Patty to be traded (or waived, and signed elsewhere) for a while now; for his sake I reckon he's better off on another team (away from Nate).

If he was traded, I don't think would make a difference to the Trail Blazers one way or the other.

I'm not sure you'll ever see that under Nate.

At the Olympics Patty was told to go out there, and push the ball.

Run, run, run, and run some more. Score yourself, assist others, whatever; just go a million miles an hour.

Does that sound anything like Nateball?

I highly doubt Patty will ever be a successful player in the NBA. Successful meaning in a teams rotation consistently.

He shuts his mouth and knows his role. Not much else you can ask from a 15th man.
