I would take Charlie over Bogut. Bogut averaged .6 more rebounds then Charlie but Charlie had more points per game. The thing that makes me put Charlie over Bogut is that he didn't start all of his games unlike Bogut.

Charlie V at 2 for sure. And Marvin Williams at 10.. all because he was a steal - for every team except Atlanta. That high a pick should be far better

Villanueva is at 2 no doubt, he played real good this season. He was better than anyone expected. And Deron Williams and Luther Head should switch places.

Villanueva, as someone said Bogut dominated the boards better, but Villanueva was able to get the hoops in. Also Villanueva with the Raptors has showed much more potential than Bogut with the bucks, Villanueva has Bosh but Bogut has Ford and Redd to back him up.

I think the 48 point game puts CV at second.woohoo! Ryan Gomes at #10!oh, and i think Ray Felton definitely deserves to be over Channing Frye. Did you see his freaking second half??

Channing was good all year though. Ray got off to a slow start, then erupted. I just like Fyre's game. A center that can shoot (and make) the mid-range jumper. Too bad that his team sucks.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>And Marvin Williams at 10.. all because he was a steal - for every team except Atlanta. That high a pick should be far better</div>He still had a half decent year. He's in the top ten because he had a better year than Sarunas Jasikevicus and Gerald Green. Maybe he didn't live up to expecations, but he didn't do horrible.I agree with everyone that put Charlie V over Bogut. Bogut may have had some game winners, but Charlie did much more for his team.

CHarlie V should definately be over Bogut. He was a great help to us offensively. Hell, he scored 48 points one game. He was very good in the post, shooting the ball, and slashing in.All the other things are agreeable.

Re: KingJamez & SunnyD's Top Ten

Andrew Bogut had a better rookie year than Charlie Villanueva did, Charlie is obviously a better athlete and has more flair but Bogut is better. Charlie Villanueva is one of the major reasons why the Raptors were one of the worse defenses in the league, he played terrible defense. What Bogut does doesn't show up in the box score, his passing is that of a guard and he passes out of double teams like few players i've ever seen. Bogut shot 53% from the field while shooting only 7 times a game. Thats why he doesn't get mentioned with the good rookies because he had to fight for shots with Mo Williams, Redd, Simmons and Magloire. I love Villanueva but he's obviously a more 'popular' pick by fans because he scored more and shocked everyone. But if you look at it, Bogut was better and didn't get the attention because he played in Milwaukee on a deep team. Bogut was a huge reason we made the playoffs, he's just a great basketball player.

Charlie put up better numbers, scored 48 points one game. I dont care if Bogut took less shots. That doesnt mean he is going to get sympathy. Charlie put up better numbers, so he is the better choice here.

Bogut gets the edge for this season.

But then again, Villanueva had to fight for the ball playing on the 2nd best scoring team in the League. And for this, most people look at stats as well.

Re: KingJamez & SunnyD's Top Ten

Give me a break, he didn't have to fight for shots, he averaged 5 more shot attempts a game than Bogut and not to mention shot three pointers...Just because the offense scored more doesn't mean he had to fight for more shots.Who cares if you were the 2nd highest rated offense...the difference between #2 and #8 would only be a couple PPG.

Ok, Bogut will be better, but Villanueva did score more, and he did have that 48 point game, so generally people think he had the better year. Just accept it, and move on. He was ROY runner up for a reason.

Any smart NBA fan knows Bogut was the better player this year.

Most members here are not smart, they pick Villanueva because he's the sexier pick because he scored more points, but Villanueva played on a terrible team and gave up as many points as he scored. The guy is an amazing talent and I like him a lot but i'm talking this year...and like you said Bogut will be better.

Re: KingJamez & SunnyD's Top Ten

I don't see whats this deep Bucks team your talking about, Redd,Magloire and T.J. Ford? Bogut is the better all around player since he can do it all but Charlie had a great year this season and I don't see why he shouldn't be put over Bogut. Also you said Bogut has a higher fg% but I think it's pretty obvious the less shots you take the higher percentage your gonna have.

Re: KingJamez & SunnyD's Top Ten

The Bucks have a very deep big man rotation, Gadzuric, Magloire, Bogut, Smith and Kukoc, Bogut played out of position and didn't get as many minutes as he would have on most other teams. Bogut is over Villanueva for this year because he put up just as good of stats, played much better defense and didn't play on one of the 4 worst teams in basketball.
