Does anyone that was thinking they could win 70+ regular season games still think so? Four loses and they have not even played 10 games!

I still think they are a contender, but hopefully the "greatest team ever assembled" talk goes away until they do something on the court.

I thought I saw you jumping on that bandwagon in about July or August.

Man was I wrong! They will be fine once they start to gel, but I never thought they would struggle like this.

It all looks fancy on paper. Then eventually you have to roll the ball out there and see what happens.

They have no post presence. Anybody with a dominant big man will give them a hell of a series.

Lakers take them in 4 ;]

I know they should get better by playoff time, but I don't see them getting past Boston.

I know it sounds crazy, but LeBron had a better supporting cast in Cleveland. He should've stayed there.

Nope. Tried finding any post that may give that impression. Only found this one:

And this thread where I begged HCP to bet me.

Or point guard. Or at least someone who can guard a point guard. Their 4 losses were to Rondo, Paul, DWill, Rondo.

I remember on opening night that was pointed out, as well. Rondo, if healthy, will eat them alive in a post season series.

Season is still early, though. I just don't think they're that good. Maybe in the next few years.

Maybe they should look to dump Bosh for a solid defensive big and a solid PG.

They brought back memories to me because the press had them as a dynasty and they never got out of the first round. I still think Miami is a contender, but Boston and Orlando may be the ones playing for the Eastern Crown this season.

Never be the team trading 1 for 2. Usually the team that gets the single best player in a trade wins.

We will see what the new CBA brings, but they should be able to use the MLE to gradually pick up these types of players.

Dude. Grant Hill was there for 6 seasons but only played in ONE playoff series because he was hurt. They had ONE series together. It's not like they lost year after year together.

I still think they win the championship. But I was wrong about their regular season dominance.

How do they get past the front courts of the Celtics and Lakers? They have no big men that can hold their own with Shaq, Jermaine, Perkins, Garnett, Davis and then Gasol, Bynum and Odom. In a 7 game series they will just get worn down and owned in the paint.

The Lakers will absolutely eat the Heat alive... it'll be a clinic offensively and defensively. Miami can win on talent alone against the scrub teams, but don't have the chemistry to beat the good teams.

And Bosh makes LaMarcus look like Tim Duncan so far, in terms of their post presence.
