Since Miami is weak at point guard and needs a presence down low, maybe Portland could give them Andre Miller and Joel Pryzbilla for Chris Bosh. I know it's still early, but Bosh just looks lost in that system. Miami might be a little more willing to do the trade since Andre and Joel are expiring contracts. I'm not sure about their salary cap situation, but this might give them a "do over" on signing Bosh and explore other pieces next summer. Lebron and Wade dominate the ball so much that I just don't see Bosh finding a role on that team.

For Portland, Bosh could be an insurance policy if Oden doesn't fully recover. Maybe a duo of Bosh and Alridge down low could work well. Although both aren't the greatest rebounders.

Again, this is just pure speculation on my part, but would be interesting to hear others thoughts.

Why the hell does Miami do that? I know that Bosh is struggling, but come on, give me a break.

I think Bosh isn't giving them what they need. They need him to play off the ball and get his points on offensive boards, but those aren't his strengths. He needs the ball in his hands.

Again, I don't know why you're so angry, but I said this was just an idea and pure speculation to create conversation. I didn't think it would affect you so personally.

That still doesn't answer why Miami would do that. A top 5 PF for an aging PG and an expiring contract?

With the expiring contracts, they can go after a PF that fits their system more that might cost less than Bosh. Guys like Kendrick Perkins and Marc Gasol are free agents this summer. These guys are exactly what Miami needs. Guys that will do the dirty work and get their points in the paint. Guys that aren't afraid to play with attitude and get physical.

Why in the fuck would Miami ever do that?

Can a mod please control these horrible lopsided trades? Maybe a sticky for trades that don't make sense for anyone but Portland?

No offense, but I think Wade and LeBron would go on strike. It would be a huge PR nightmare for the Heat.

What a stupid trade proposal, insanely unrealistic.

Might as well propose us trading Batum for LeBron, Camby for Dwight Howard and Matthews for CP3?

This thread makes Blazer fans look like idiotic homers.

Indeed but it makes you think

LMA, Joel and Dre for Bosh? Would Miami consider that?

No. It doesn't work under the CBA either.

Damn, calm down folks. I didn't mean to personally assault people with this discussion. I threw this out there just to create some conversation. Right now Bosh's value is a little bit diminished and there is a lot of pressure on Miami. I know Pat Riley isn't Chris Wallace, but who would've thought that the Lakers could have gotten Pau Gasol for Kwame Brown?

Pau wanted out of Memphis, I don't get the impression Bosh is clamoring to leave Miami just yet.

I'm willing to bet that Bosh has a no trade clause (unless he wants to be traded) in his contract.

Here is an article that doesn't speak to highly of Bosh.

Also, Memphis got Marc Gasol, who was a top European prospect at the time and has turned out to be a very good young big man. It wasn't Pau for Kwame Brown.

That trade is often overstated as the most one sided trade ever. It really wasn't very bad.
