Which two teams do u think will win make it to the World Series? Its still too early to decide but I say:Ney York Mets vs. Detroit TigersMets win.Even though I hate the Mets, with all the moves they have made in the off-season it would be a dissapointing season if they dont win it all
I could see a Mets and Red Sox or Mets and White Sox. I don't think Detroit is quite at their peak yet after seeing them lose two of three in Boston and three of four in NY. Those are teams they are going to have to beat in the playoffs to get to the WS. I wouldn't count out the Astros or Yankees, knowing how they have played in the past.
The Tigers? Please, they will eventually poop out...and the Met's don't have the pitching. I expect the White Sox to win it again, what an amazing team.Mark Buehrle, Jose Contreras, Jon Garland, Freddy Garcia, Javier Vazquez, Bobby Jenks, A.J. Pierzynski, Jim Thome, Paul Konerko, Jim Thome, Alex Cintron, Scott Podsednik and Jermaine Dye.
Yeah and Jim Thome is just hitting the lights out this year. I think he is second in the HR chase. I would have said the White Sox, but I dont want them to win back to back.

Yeah yeah, we know, you like the <.500 Atlanta Braves to win the East.Either way, the Cardinals have proven to me that they can't win a World Series (I MEAN LATELY, since people like to take things out of context).
Pujols is just erupting, they have good pitching as always, and some other good hitters like Jim Edmonds. With the Astros fading, I think they can definately make the WS this year.
Oh sure, they have a good chance of getting there. They're just the Eagles of the <strike>NFL</strike> MLB to me, though. Always close, never gonna finish on top.Edit: I meant MLB, not NFL, but whatever.
When Detroit has their pitching staff fully healthy later in the season and come playoff time I think they will definately do some damage. Tigers vs. MetsTigers in 6. The bullpen has been amazing all year, and the starting rotation has been great as well. The veterans on the staff have calmed down the younger guys when they have bad outings, and it shows. THe bench is also very underrated. Vance Wilson could be the best back up catcher in the major leagues. The Tigers are in good shape to make a run and with Jim Leyland at the helm I think a World Series is in order.

I agree with Justice 100%, I think they might make it and then will lose. I see the White Sox repeating as champs again, there pitching is one of the best.
Mets v. Tigers would be a great series between two teams who haven't had the brightest of years lately. If this does happen I got to go with the Tigers in 6 games.
I'm going to call Rangers over the Mets in 6 just because I'm tired of seeing all these Detroit predictions. And I think it'd be hilarious if it came true.
Not 86, it will be a rematch of 84. Tigers vs. Padres! No Padres. It's actually going to be Astros and Tigers, since Clemens is coming back. That's going to make all the difference. Tigers will win it.Oswalt/Clemens will be sick. Pettite will turn around. Berkman is playing well. Morgan Ensberg, Willy Tavarez and Jason Lane are pretty talented too.The Tigers want to trade a pitcher like Zack Miner or Mike Maroth (since they have a logjam) for a left handed bat like Aubrey Huff, Jeremy Burnitz, or Wily Mo Pena. Offense shouldn't be a problem, when Curtis Granderson, Magglio Ordonez, and Brandon Inge are picking up the slack. Marcus Thames has turned some heads too.
