    Allan Houston had the same "arthritic left knee" that Roy now has and it robbed him of his career. Having this same injury I just don't see how Roy can play at a high level again, even with the medication.

    I'd say there's a slight chance; Nic just doesn't appear to have that dominant scorer's mentality that Brandon does (did?) and unless he gets a lot more skilled with his dribble it's going to be tough for him to become a true first option scorer, which would need to happen before I'd call him a better player than Brandon on offense. If we're just talking about overall game (defense, offense, glue guy, etc.) then that's a little bit different.

    To me, better player means better overall player. Meaning he has more of a positive impact than Roy did.

    We better hope so because Portland isn't going to be able to bring in anyone better then Batum in the near future.
