looks like he was considerably smaller then Armon though. If memory serves, Kenny was really quick but he wasn't able to take the pounding that taking the ball to the hole brought when he was in the league. I recall a broken wrist from a fall and generally having issues holding up physically. Once he conceeded his game to the perimeter, he had effectiveness issues as he didn't have much of a J.

We know from the more complete pre-draft info on Armon that he's 30+ lbs heavier and yet still near the top end of guys tested when it comes to quickness and jumping ability. Even if he doesn't develop a reliable jumper there is hope that he can be effective slashing to the hoop on drives and locking guys down on D with his quick feet + bulk and long arms.

I'm comparing them strictly on offensive style alone. Both aren't known for their outside jumper, are know for their mid-range floaters and play with that herky-jerky left-handed style. They also, both were effective at using the glass when they get into the lane. I'm not sure if you're agreeing with me, or not.

Defensively, you're right. They are nothing alike. Anderson was scrawny and would get abused by other guards when playing D.

As I said when I first made the comparison, but offensively they play a very similar game.

Watching this video I can't help but think of Armon. Kenny might have been just a slightly better ballhandler, but Armon is still very young.

Kenny was one of the last guys to go lickity brindle up the middle.
