Relaying the wrong information. Thanks for that. Maybe he's a very unrespected doctor. I dunno. You don't know. But it was said on the radio! OMG!!!! Career ending. Rebuild. Break it down. Bring back KP or some shit.

He didn't say only the worst-case scenario. He said that micro-fracture on both knees could still be an option, if there is some cartilage left.

Brandon Roy himself said his knees are bone on bone. What exactly is there to look at? It's why hew pictures weren't sent down to the LA doctor, who, oh btw, didn't recommend surgery because there's nothing there.

You can try and tare this guy down all you want because you don't like his conclusions but he has plenty of reason to say what he said about Roy.

You're also killing the guy and you didn't even listen to the interview. That seems odd.

You're still in denial. I get it. I was there just under an hour ago. I would have been you in this thread prior listening to that interview (which you clearly did not do yourself).

Could be. Or, it could not be. Amputation could be an option. Knee replacement. All options. Now, I haven't seen Roy's knee, but I know that these are all options available.

Even if they went the MFS route we know very well it takes 2 full years to come back 100%, and that's just on one knee.

Denial of what? he has knee issues. Maybe he gets surgery. maybe rest makes him able to play. I don't know. You don't. And Rask doesn't. I'm not going to think his career is over, and start looking to get out of his contract because of it.

I see you've moved to anger in the process of grief.

I'm not trying to kill the guy. I'm saying he is reporting on worst case scenario of a situation. If a prosecutor speculates that the worst possible situation for someone on trial is the death penalty, do you automatically assume the guy is being put to death? I guess some do. I dunno. i can't control what happens, and flipping out about it isn't going to solve shit.

Anger? Grief? Gimme a break. Yes, discussing amputation of Roy's leg shows just how angry I am, doesn't it? Grief? Did he die?

I never said his career was over, either, but the inflammation is only going to get worse as the bone keeps getting worn from rubbing together. That even happens after micro-fracture as time moves on.

I guess you're just not understanding that bone on bone doesn't get better and there aren't very many surgeries available to fix it, especially for an elite athlete. And with rest it's not going to magically get better for an extended period of time. It only gets worse the more his bones grind and degenerate.

I'm surprised so many in here were and likely still are interested in Chris Paul, then.

I'm hoping RR7 has some sort magical treatment to make the cartilage come back. He has snark working for him, but I don't think that's going to help Roy.

I agree and I posted that in another thread. Although Paul only has one terrible knee, compared to Roy's two terrible knees.

You're right, but crying about it on the internet is certainly going to bring back the cartilage, right?

Steve Patterson is supposed to be on the show at 5:05 tomorrow to discuss Brandon Roy's medical reports during the 2006 draft and they already mentioned that SP said the only red flag was his ankle, nothing on his knees. If that's the case then that's the final straw for me with this Blazers training staff if they checked him and that's all they found.

I'm just as upset as you are. Probably more, since if what Brandon said about his knees is correct, he is never going to be a max-level/franchise player.

So you're not upset at all, is what you mean? No, wait, you're right. Probably more. I'm not mad. You're crying over worst case scenario. So be it. Have a nice night.
