Unlike you, I don't think our regular season success is tied to Roy. I'm sticking with my prediction.
Through Dec. 1, I think I said 5-2 including last game (which I had as a loss). I think I had the Utah game as a loss, but predicted we'd pull out the other ones. I stand by that, but am more than willing to own up when I am wrong, this prediction included.
It was fun while it lasted for some of us. After late-Whitsitt and then the Pnashterson days, I feel like we've already been here before. The others who spent the last 3 years whining are already in practice for what lies ahead. Either way, things aren't what they were that past four years. I'm glad I had fun watching the games, and watching a healthy Brandon Roy.
HCP, for the vibe in Portland for us fanatics, Roy seems to be a lost cause in terms of ever being an MVP candidate. This is not an acute injury, but rather a chronic injury that will only worsen. You'd know the vibe of the team, but that's what is going on here right now in general.
I used to get free tickets in the 8th row, FT line extended, when the Blazers weren't winning. My fear this time is that Paul Allen does not subsidize this cursed team.
300-level seats were half-price for the Detroit game, and I just got 4 300-level seats for $5/each for the 12/20/10 Milwaukee game in section 316 on StubHub! Deals, here we come.
I just found out they found some old bones and headstones under the Blazers locker room while we were on the road! POLTERGEIST type shit!
