Craig Kilborn would be a perfect lead in this series. He has the inherent smarmy douchiness to really get into the role of Cowherd.

Agreed. Oldschool was a perfect example.

Now the entire country thinks the same thing. Apparently it's working for him. I don't hate the guy, but he isn't all that interesting either.

yeah, he's a little more mouthy now that he has a bigger paycheck on a big audience. when he first started he was just a pencil necked geek and was a bit nervous at times but grew into the role.

The guy is ogling over his co-host everytime I watch that sportsnation show. It's like he's a 13 year old kid.

Michelle Beadle is pretty hot, though. I like her. She knows her shit too. She doesn't need a teleprompter to talk sports. I dig it.

I like Cowherd's schtick as well. Hate his opinion half the time, love it the other half.

I still think Craig Kilborn at his douchey best is perfect for the role, though.

What a weird concept. Don't like listening to him really, but I have met and talked with him a few times, and he is really a cool guy.

Colin Cowherd is the king of the "Guy who makes every obvious random observation seem like an epiphany" clan.

    KGW days.......dork
First "The Herd" days.....Jim Rome wannabe
These days......just plain annoying. Oh wait, he is also an elitist. He seems to think that there isn't anyone on Earth who could do his job better than he can.

His default position on everything is this...expert or rich guy says so, must be right.

I thought they had a show like this with Jay Mohr on CBS a little while back?
