Seems like we will win this game if being on the road doesn't bother the players too much. The rockets are starting Brad Miller. Enough said. Ok, more to say. Who's going to stop Rose? Deng may have a tough game.
Brutally tough game and the Rockets are only 2-7. San Antonio is going to be a buzz saw. Is it possible to forget how hard the circus trip is each season? --Korver stepped up to the plate tonight even though he was clearly injured. You have to give it to the guy. --Brewer is showing flashes of being what we had hoped. --It's nice to know the Bulls can win even if all of the starters, sans Rose, have a bad night. The flipside of that statement is that it takes a ridiculous outburst from Rose just to keep the game close when Noah and Gibson are not playing well. --Asik had a couple of surprising plays. All in all, it's going to be a tough 13 game stretch. It was nice to get one win, but I don't see them ending up 500% on the trip.
Don't read the tea leaves too closely. I'll take Thibs at his word and take it one game at a time. Luol was forced to work against a good defender and defend someone much bigger and stronger than him. Now, if Taj doesn't come ready to play, we'll be in trouble. He will certainly challenged by Timmy and San Anton's front court. But the real question is Joakim. Is he enjoying his early season success too soon? We need him at his amped up best to win. Thank goodness for Mr. Asik, and for the emergence of Ronnie B.
