Looks like Matthews gets the starting gig in place of Roy. Hopefully that means the plan is to get Batum lots of shots, and it gets Matthews out of his early funk.
will say it again... theres no way our starteRs can outscore theres or many other teams in this league. not enough fire power without roy
I watched Memphis play last night. It's amazing how signing Conley to a fat contract extension didn't turn him into a better player.
That is bullshit dude. Nobody buys that argument. There are plenty of teams the Blazers can outscore even with Roy out, and Memphis is one of them. By the end of the 3rd quarter last night, Zbo and Gay were a combined 3 of 14. They couldn't score their way out of a paper bag with holes punched in it.
Matthews is a charger. This is good news for our offense with B-Roy out. Hopefully he can draw some defense while he's taking it to the rack and kick it out to BATuuuuuuuM.
Hopefully. Then again hopefully Nate changes up the offense a bit so that Nic's job isn't to stand and wait for a pass
Oh comon we know it's not that way all the time. Some of the time, yes. But Nick has been more involved in the offense this year than the past, by far. (The past of course, being not involved).
Recent tweet by Patty Mills: Patty_Mills Patrick Mills Game time!!! The Aussie Hip Hop playlist didn't work to well the last two games so I'm changing it up. Yothu Yindi pre game beats. Pay that!
It turns out that the total score counted in a game is based on both the starters AND bench scoring. So really, the starting unit for Memphis could score 90 points (highly unlikely) and Portlands could score 75 (highly unlikely) but Portland could still win. True story.
Przybilla, Roy, and Oden all make surprise returns after harvesting body parts from former Blazer Jeff Pendergraph. Roy displays his new 47-inch vertical, and McMillan plays the triple towers of Camby, Oden and Przy for 48 minutes. Blazers gather 31 total blocks and win 92-37.
By the way, is Joel really playing tonight? All time Blazers leader in rebounds and blocks in a single game!
