Man, just when you hear Roy's MRI doesn't show anything new and he'll probably be back after a couple of games and think that things are bound to start looking up for the Blazers, another kick in the groin. Unreal.
So, I'd say this should just about be the end of any thought of trading Joel's ending contract. In fact, I'd bet that Joel is looking at a new deal with the Blazers.
I hate this news, but I still look forward to watching the Blazers. I just got the new Blazers book and, looking through it, reflected on how much fun the Blazers have given me over the years. This sucks, but we are still a good team and I still love the Blazers.
So the new face of the franchise is...Batum? I love Batum, but when he seemed like maybe the team's third-most talented player, I liked the future so much more. I await news that Batum requires a microfracture surgery.
