I'm not giving up on him. I'm just not sure how they handle his free agency. What a tough spot Cho is in huh? Keep paying a guy for potential or let somebody else take a chance on him and maybe watch him blow up like Jermaine O'Neal did. The thing that I think is getting lost is how nice of a person he is. Just a great down to earth funny guy who has had an unbelievable amount of bad luck. I know that doesn't mean a lot around here though. Is he done as a Blazer......... I got no clue!
I'd be interested in seeing what type of offers he is going to get as a free agent. I don't see Portland making the qualifying offer of 8.8 million, but I can see someone taking a chance on him on the cheap......wouldn't be suprised to see Portland offer him something on the cheap side to make sure that he doesn't heal up and turn into a monster somewhere else. I just don't see how a team could offer him a huge contract, I'm guessing something small and short term.
