Quick: I've got breaking news..... Greg Oden will have MF surgery... Canzano: Jason.... we heard that yesterday. Quick: That's not possible. This is breaking news.
I won't be able to tune in, so please make sure and spread the gravy if they say anything interesting.
Oops. I didn't adjust back to Pacific Time (I'm in the Mountain Time Zone). Thanks for the correction.
Although, Canzano and Strong generally appear to be interchangeable entities. That said, tonight's game night.
Quick's "gold": 1) Conversation with Larry Miller - team still thinks Oden is an impact player and will likely extend QO
3) Roy's knees are a chronic problem, and even though Roy has to change game, Roy will still be an All-Star level player.
Sounds like Greg is a Blazer through next season barring another huge setback. I think that is a no-brainer in that if Paul Allen doesn't care about the money, then keeping Oden as an asset is good for either a trade or the team.
3) BRoy's knees are a chronic problem......and even though Roy has to change game....BRoy will still be an All-Star level player.
I would be thrilled if Brandon played at a high enough level to be an All-Star level player. There really is no winner in a situation in which his contributions decline much below a level the Blazers are used to.
