They are looking to trade him, and Dunleavy is an expiring. Picks probably involved too. Just playing with thoughts is all

As gm of the Nba 2k11 version of the Blazers, i managed to trade Roy, Oden, and Camby for Yao, Aaron Brooks, Jared Jeffries, and Kyle Lowry, i then flipped Lowry and Rudy for The Bobcats next two first round draft picks and the expiring deals of Kwame and Nazr Mohammend. The roster sits at

    Brook/Armon/Patty
    Matthews/Armon/Elliot
    Batum/Babbit/Jeffries
    LMA/Dante/Kwame
    Yao/Pryz/Nazr/Marks

Obviously not a great team, but it gets us some pieces and lottory picks to rebuild with.

Lol i then flipped all of the draft picks along with Batum for the number one pick, Harrison Barnes.

Hmm...chronic knee problems, signed to the max, 4 years left? I doubt we'd get much more than expiring contracts. And really, that may not do us much good, because top free agents don't want to come here anyway. If the NBA tightens down on the cap, it may help us re-sign some guys.

Maybe they can get 4 3rd round picks for Brandon!

Maybe by "internal discussions" they thought of trading him for Oden.

Adrian Woj wrote the article. The guy has an agenda and I'm not sure I'd trust him very much.

Now, I would assume internal discussions doesn't mean very much. In fact, I would speculate (and hope) all GM's have discussions and trade proposals regarding their star players. It's just how the business works.

Doesn't mean it'll ever to come to that but it doesn't hurt to get prepared for the worst.

Now, assuming the worst does happen, we couldn't get Roy for very much if, as Woj claims, "league sources" seem to have in-depth knowledge on his knees. And as mentioned, his contract is an issue as well.

I can't see Roy getting traded...or at least for anything besides a first round pick and an out of his prime starter.
