QB Collins out for several weeks; Rusty Smith takes over backup job

    This could hinder some serious playoff hopes. But the D has been on smash this whole season so they could still keep em in it.

    Rusty Smith is a cool name so that should throw some points their way

    "I think we can assume that the ankle issue is behind him,'' Fisher said of Young. "We expect him to practice this week.''

    So hopefully he can continue to be healthy and play how we was for the first six games of the season. He was 62 of 101 (62%) for 731 yards with 7 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions. He wasn't throwing for tons of yards but he was very efficient.

    If he does get injured again, I have zero confidence in rookie Rusty Smith. He only threw 33 passes in pre-season, completing 18 (55%) of them for 198 yards with 0 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. He is also from a small college (Florida Atlantic). At least he ran a pro-style offense while in college.
