Re: Stock Up & Down ^Stock Up^ 1. Marcus Williams - Once considered possibly the 2nd rated PG behind Foye in this draft that feeling has been erased by great performances in workouts and people remembering how great he was this year. 2. Oleksiy Pecherov - He reportidly destroyed Hilton Armstrong in a recent workout, definatly moving into place in the 12 to 18 range, probably a lock. Playing very strong in workouts. 3. Shannon Brown - Is measuring small but his athletic ability is off the charts, a great personality as well. Doing very well in workouts even though he measured 3 inches lower than at MSU. 4. Rajon Rondo - Measured 6'2" and has gained 10 points of muscle. Along with his leadership and physical ability his stock is going up a lot. 5. Marcus Vinicius - Measured 6'10" compared to 6'9" in most scouting reports. He's a 6'10" 235 pound SF who is like a Brazilian Adam Morrison, he can do anything on offense but still is raw defensivly. 6. Paul Davis - Has shown a lot during workouts and has a good chance of going in the first round. 7. Alexander Johnson - Has really lost weight and looks good, really quick leaper, moving into the end of the first round. 8. Guillermo Diaz - Playing under more control, shooting lights out in workouts. His verticle leap has blown people away. Can do anything on offense and could slip into the late first. Stock Down 1. Hilton Armstrong - Has gotten owned in most workouts, not very tough, all the hype he's gotten has slowed. 2. Richard Roby - Has just flat out stunk it up, is probably going back to school.
Re: Stock Up & Down BCB may I ask, where you get your info? I'm just wondering, I'd like to see who is doin good in workouts
Re: Stock Up & Down I get most of my information from basic websites like Draftexpress for example which is the best NBA Draft site. And every couple weeks I email back and forth with a scout who I know because he's friends with my uncle Chuck who played basketball at Wisconsin...He's gives some interesting stuff sometimes but I read up on things like a mad dog. Most of the camp workouts I get from Express.
Re: Stock Up & Down Bobby Brown has also had some impressive workouts..I like him and he has some potential. Coming from a smaller school, he is not getting any love..But they say he could be a sleeper pick..I like his game though.
Re: Stock Up & Down <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>NBA Comparison: Kenny AndersonStrengths: Point guard with a great feel for the position ... Makes those around him better ... Great vision and good timing on passes ... An excellent shooter, with good shot selection and range ... Makes good decisions and finds shots within the flow of the game, looking to get everyone involved and shooting when necessary ... Athletic guard with good explosiveness, he'll rise up and dunk on opponents when given the chance ... Almost too unselfish, teammates really enjoy having him on their team ... Very good at using tear drops in the lane over big men ... Ambidextrous, can use either hand on shots within 5-8 feet of the basket ... Plays under control with excellent body balance ... Good defender, who's effective in the full court press using his leaping ability to tip passes ... Good free throw shooter ...Weaknesses: Playing in a smaller (Big West) Conference, the assumption is he is less talented because he wasn't recruited to a bigger Conference school. However, his high school had so many talented players that he got overshadowed and he also developed a lot in college ... The small conference also is a disadvantage as it's tougher for him to prove his abilities since his opponents aren't High Major players on most nights ... Can get a little down on himself if he struggles early, but competes hard ... A little on the small side, but his athleticism helps counteract that ...Notes: Scouts called him the top PG on the West Coast after he outshined Jordan Farmar and Gabe Pruitt in the 2005 LA Summer League.Aran Smith 12/9/05</div> Here's his.net profile...he's an interesting prospect i'll give you that.
Re: Stock Up & Down He really has no weaknesses from the profile. They basically just said that he plays in a small conference, and he gets down on himself at times..
