Will take place on November 21, 2010 at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. 1 Randy Orton vs. Wade Barrett Singles match for the WWE Championship, with Special referee John Cena. If Barrett wins the championship, Cena will be free from The Nexus, but if Barrett doesn't win the championship, Cena is fired from the WWE. 2 Kane vs. Edge Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship 3 Lay-Cool (Layla or Michelle McCool) vs. Natalya Singles match for the WWE Divas Championship
The card for this is actually pretty solid, quite a bit better than Bragging Rights and Hell In A Cell. The two matches I'm most anxious for don't even involve either of the Heavyweight Titles either. I'm looking forward to seeing Bryan vs. DiBiase (even though it seems like it was thrown together awfully quick), mainly because Bryan doesn't ever seem to put on a bad match. I'm also really looking forward to seeing Morrison vs. Sheamus. I'm REALLY hoping they give Morrison this victory and continue giving him the push he deserves. Hopefully this PPV doesn't disappoint, because the card looks pretty solid.
Also, not sure if anyone else has realized, but if Nexus has a clean sweep, Bryan retains and Kaval beats Dolph, there will be five people from the first two seasons of NXT with titles.
I'll try and catch Kane and Edge, but I'm really looking forward to the WWE title match. I'm getting a strong feeling Wade wins.
I agree, I'm looking forward to that match too, not necessarily because I think it will be a good match, but just for the outcome. I have a hunch Wade wins, Cena then beats him down after he's free, and then The Miz comes out and cashes in his Money In The Bank contract and wins.
Good PPV thus far. Kicked off with DiBiase vs. Bryan, with Bryan winning in a good match. Sheamus vs. Morrison was up next, and again, great match there. John Morrison looked really good, and I think he's going to be getting a big push real quick with his win tonight. And so far, my favorite match through three matches has been Ziggler vs. Kaval. Even though Kaval lost, he looked incredible in the match, and showcased all sorts of great high flying moves tonight. He might just be the best high flyer in the WWE right now.
The Team Rey vs. Team Alberto match was ok, had some entertaining parts to it though. Specifically when Alberto Del Rio decided to talk some smack to Big Show after tagging in McIntrye, only to proceed to get KO'd and taken out of the match because of it. The other funny part was when Kofi slapped Rhodes in the face, Rhodes absolutely flipped out after that. Show then got tagged in, pretended that he was going to hit the knockout punch to Rhodes, whom ducked, blocking his face, only to look up and get KO'd anyways. Oh, and Team Rey won, as expected. After that was LayCool vs. Natalya. Natalya won the title, after that LayCool attempted to attack her, only for Beth Phoenix to make her return and clean house on LayCool. up next is Edge vs. Kane. On a sidenote, why the hell is this before the Tag Team Title match? Unless WWE decided to scrap that match for no apparent reason.
Well, Kane retained the title because both men's shoulders were down for the count of three, so Kane wins because of a draw. However, Edge got the last laugh, driving Kane through the barricade in a wheel chair after Kane was going to attempt to chokeslam him on the floor outside the match. So, Kane still doesn't know where Paul Bearer is, and Edge got the last laugh in this match. I have a hunch we'll be seeing a rematch at TLC.
Blah, Nexus retained their titles. I kind of understand why it was made second to last, because the Raw GM sent an e-mail stating that if Nexus got involved, Barrett would lose and they would be indefinitely suspended. Time for the main event - Orton vs. Barrett. My bet? Barrett wins, Cena becomes free, beats him down, and then The Miz comes out and cashes in MITB and wins. However, I also wouldn't be shocked if The Miz cashed it in and failed too, but for whatever reason, I just feel like he's cashing that in tonight.
Gotta say I'm a little shocked by the ending. Orton won, which means Cena is "fired". I'm quite curious as to how they're going to bring him back, because there's no way in hell they'd let the biggest star in their industry walk away.
I think Cena will just be taking a break for a while and possibly get involved in a new movie for WWE. Just my thoughts.
I don't think he's going to be gone for that long, in fact, I fully expect a Barrett vs. Cena match at TLC.
Well, they do have to play it off like he is leaving. I'm almost expecting Barrett to come back on his word and keep Cena in Nexus tomorrow night on Raw. We shall see.
