<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>This was after a three-hour practice and film session Sunday. Heat guard Dwyane Wade, still sick, still congested, remained on the court, the only player to do so. Everyone else dispersed for the showers or interviews, but Wade kept running from spot to spot along the top of the key, shooting more than a hundred extra jump shots. Swish. Swish. Swish. Off to the side, teammate Derek Anderson counted 26 straight before getting bored and walking away.Wade wants to win the way the poor want money, and he is about to perform on the biggest stage of his life. Standing in his way is a Dallas defender, Josh Howard, who Wade has said gives him more difficulty than any in the NBA. So, after three hours of practice Sunday, assistant coach Erik Spoelstra, standing under the basket, worked up quite a sweat just from rebounding all of Wade's extra shots and returning a single basketball to him. Swish. Swish. Swish. Wade backed up a few steps, then drilled a dozen straight threes.</div>http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sport...ll/14749006.htm

Even though i don't like him, his one guy i respect. If only shaq retired just before the finals, then i could support the heat.

If Kwame Brown put half the work Wade put in, he'd be an all-star...This is why Wade is such a great player, always working harder to get better.

Dwayne Wade's attitude towards basketball is part of the reason he's repsected, known, and most importantly playing. He puts in so much effort that he has now shown more potential than anyone thought possible from this kid. It's good.

12 straight threes, pretty amazing. His jumper has been spectacular this post season and I hope he can attend the upcoming team practices.

That's pretty awesome, it makes me feel lazy after I practice basketball. [IMG]

That's amazing. I try to play like he does and work hard to get better like him. He is a great role model to base your basketball game off of.

Exactly.Where are those people who were bagging on Wade because he reportedly missed two straight practices...

You can tell Dwyane wants to win alot. He is very competitive just like Lebron and Kobe and Shaq of course. He has a very good work ethic, and Im sure he will be in the weight room and on the practice court overtime for the next few days..

If he shoots that many jumpshots, why can't he hit threes?Besides that point, Wade obviously has that great will and desire. As I've said:Wade and LeBron - It's their league

    Re: Dywane Wade's work ethic.

Dirk has a bigger work ethic... ;)he got fined by Avery for working too much, lol...he works with Terry on late night...well, I'm not going to debate this crap, my first comment was random... the rest of it is true, though...
