I just wanted to say that I'm completely opposed to The Miz as champion. I've never liked his character, at all. I also don't feel like he has the ring skills to be a champ. I will say though, he's the best mic guy in the WWE by far, and might be the best in wrestling (though Mr. Anderson can sure give him a run for his money). But other than that, why would you give him this kind of push? It makes no sense to me. Whatever. I'm just venting. Also, I think I might kill myself during Raw next week. Why, you ask? I'll tell you why. Michael Cole. He's going to make me go crazy. I can't imagine how much he's going to lick The Miz's nuts now that he's champ. It was already completely awful, but now it's just going to be insane. Maybe they'll fire Cole between now and then...
Oh...and I probably overreacted. He's probably not the worst champ ever, but still? He really doesn't deserve it based on his in-ring ability. I'd rather Wade Barrett have it, at least he's got the ring ability.
I don't know, I didn't really mind Miz taking the title. I was actually starting to get a little tired of Orton being champ. He's just been so damn boring lately. I think Miz deserves this push though, he's been in the WWE for a while now. Can't really recall how many years, 3-4? But anyways, it's better than Wade getting it IMO, his time will come sometime next year. I'm sensing a triple threat match at the TLC PPV.
Meh, I understand the push, and it is nice to have someone new on top (when was the last time it wasn't Orton, Cena or Batista?)...but they still could have given it to someone better...like Morrison. Oh well, at least it's new...and I'm anxious to see what kind of feuds start now that he's got the title, and really anxious to see what's going to happen in the Nexus storyline now that Barrett has failed twice at winning the title and doesn't have Cena anymore.
I don't know, I am slowly starting to lose interest in Nexus. Ever since they added those other 2 annoying guys, it went downhill IMO.
I agree, I'm not really a fan of them adding McGillicutty or Harris, but it did give them a much needed boost of talent. Both of them are significantly more talented in the ring than Otunga and Slater, but the storyline is still getting kind of blah. I'm just mainly curious to see what happens with Barrett, and when he's going to decide to get rid of Nexus.
I'm sure I've said it here before, but the injuries really did Nexus in. Losing Sheffield and Tarver just isn't good. And while Darren Young never really looked the part, I think he had some skills to make up for it.
Gotta give the guy a chance. Since he had the MITB, you knew he was going to be champ at some point. I thought it was pretty entertaining actually seeing someone new at the top.. and that little girl's face after he won it was pretty priceless.
Tarver wasn't much to begin with, but he was really picking up steam for me personally. As for Miz, he's far from the worst champ ever. Disappointed girl will haunt Moo for saying that.
Bahaha, that girl was hilarious. It cracked me up when I was watching the recording of it last night (I never get to watch Raw live, so I have to watch online). I'm not sure if anyone else here reads it, but you should check out IGN's Wrestling Recap each week, it's generally pretty funny. The guy that writes it (can't remember his name), had a whole segment about demon girl that was rather funny though. Sorry for the shameless plug, haha. Oh, and Alex, I'll give him a chance, but my hopes aren't high. I figured he would get it since won the MITB, but I was hoping he'd be the first to biff it. And, to WWE's credit, they made it look like it was possible, unlike the last two times MITB was cashed in. Kane obliterated Rey in fail swoop, and Swagger came out and hit Jericho with the briefcase before asking for an official. So, the fact that we had an actual match gave me hope...but to no avail.
Raw is almost always live, Smackdown isn't. That's recorded on Tuesday's, the same day they record NXT and Superstars.
