    The show is different than the comic in this regard. They just had a one-off in the comic (IIRC) that Lori explained as a moment of loneliness--and only after they thought Rick was gone. Looks like there will be more to it on the show.

    Last night's episode was damn good, I'd put it up right behind the first episode.

    Cannot wait for 2nd season, does anyone have a time-line for that?

    I was never really a fan of Kirkman's writing in the comic. However he seems to be penning a few episodes as well so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

    IIRC I think Amy and Glenn got into a relationship in the comic (I'm not 100% sure it was Amy) but now she is dead.

    Last night's episode had the highest ratings so far at 5.6-million viewers (US). The season finale airs on the 5th.

    Good news--not only has a second season been optioned, it will be 13 episodes rather than 6.

    Did anyone notice the use of Kanada's Death Pt. 2 (Adiago in D Minor), the theme to the film Sunshine (highly recommended, same director as 28 Days Later, coincidentally) that was also in Kickass? Shame they used it for an uneventful drive. Probably would've been better suited to the end of the episode as Rick is losing his shit and the door opens up.

    Zach Snyder's Dawn of the Dead was pretty decent. I didn't mean to infer it was bad.

    A second zombie movie by Snyder has been talked about for a couple of years. At one point Army of the Dead was supposedly in pre-production but that didn't go anywhere. Has a 2013 tag on it on IMDB but I don't know much more than that.

    The writing staff for the show has been fired.

    :dunno:

    Maybe it has something to do with episode five. Remember when the RV breaks down and they talk at length about how it can't be repaired easily? Then suddenly they arrive in downtown Atlanta in it? Huh.

    Expect Darabont & Kirkman to take over most of the writing.
