This guy in most mock drafts is projected to go round 7th or 8th. This is exactly the type of PG we need. A very good shooter who can actually play PG. 4 straight 30 point games. Im thinking he will keep rising and we will have likely no shot at him but if im cho.... this should be the blazers realistic target. Who knows if he comes out though. Hes got 1 more year left so maybe he stays but this kid would fit perfectly.

He's a great shooter? McMillan would let him into the Horse games with Babbitt, before the scrimmages start. No minutes in the scrimmages, though.

Fuck, draft threads in November are depressing.

I would prefer to watch the point guard canidates from this years draft before making a decision. I am not at all sure this is a good year for the PG crop out of college. In the past if PG were any good for the most part, they made some noise, and we haven't had anybody making noise yet. I'm in the wait and see mode. I want to see them play before deciding on if they are pursuing. This reminds me of a year where you get more "Mike Conley's" and no "Derek Rose's".

Maybe (I'd say it's a 50-50 proposition at this point) but we're not going to suck badly enough to have a shot at this kid either.

...3 straight games of 30+ pts and so far, his points are up but his assists are down. His career percentages are not outstanding either so it should be interesting to see his year-end totals. He seems like another lil man SG that loves to shoot :dunno:

I don't think he's much of a true point guard. That may just be because he has to score a ton for his team to win though.

I've watched a lot of UConn games and Kemba really reminds me of a Ty Lawson/Jameer Nelson type of PG.

Best PG in college right now is Kyrie Irving hands down. He reminds me a lot of Paul in college.

Yea I had heard that too but haven't seen him play yet. They list him as a combo guard on one draft site, which scares the living shit out of me.

I don't think we have a 7th or 8th round pick this year...We might have to reach and take him in the 2nd round!

Kinda seems like Bayless in college, no?

Bayless was a pretty good shooter in college, great scorer, athletic, PG, defender, about 6'3.

I've watched him 3 times this year and in McDonalds game last year. Nothing about him says combo guard to me.
