Tim Thomas is a monster this year, there has got to be like 3 people who predicted that.

The Devils I knew were gonna suck when they paid Ilya all that money; what a stupid idea.

    40 is the new 30.

Keith and the Hawks' are good, but I don't expect them to repeat. They lost a lot of their team, even with Toews and Kane still there. But who knows what will happen by March.

Also, I personally hate the shoot-out. You play all the game and in the end you gotta watch some dude who possibly did nothing all game but can deke. I think it should be continuous OT.

In previous years I've had both Tim Thomas and Jon Quick as my goalies, and I remember thinking Rask and Bernier would be getting a lot of the games this year so I stayed away from both, even though they both dropped ridiculously far in the draft. I think we can chalk that up to a huge mistake.

Stamkos on pace for 78 goals? Didn't see that coming. He won't keep it up, but still, I can see him popping in 60 this year.

I at least thought the Devils would make the playoffs. They're finished. Not much of a future there.
And I knew Edmonton would suck, but this is painful. The worst defense I think I have ever seen as a hockey fan. Downright pathetic.
