I need to buy one. Tired of lugging around the DSLR. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Quick/accurate auto-focus is a factor. Zoom not so much. Thanks in advance. ABM
Ditto. I have last year's version of this and I love it. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11539271&whse=BC&Ne=5000001+4000000&eCat=BC|90607|83&N=4047263%204294967258&Mo=14&No=13&Nr=P_CatalogName:BC&Ns=P_Price|1||P_SignDesc1&lang=en-US&Sp=C&hierPath=90607*83*87150*&topnav= FYI, this same camera is $179 at amazon without the memory card.
Just purchased it! I came "that" close to buying this one.... http://www.pcrichard.com/catalog/product.jsp?modelNo=FE340SLV .....but I think I'll love the SD940 much more. Love the video aspects!
I was going to suggest a Canon A590, that's what I have (and I really love it). I think mine was only like 100 bucks (I had a smokin' hot deal).
I hear ya. Part of it is, though, I kind of wanted it for our Thanksgiving gathering. (not to mention, I HATE holiday shopping crowds.. Yeah, I know, more and more companies are offering Black Friday on-line.)
Yeah, that Kodak Z950 looks like a killer deal. http://slickdeals.net/blackfriday/deal/office-max/6266#ad-scans I'm still happy with my purchase, though
Got a Fuji from Costco. It can go under water, shoot videos in HD, and takes mega clear photos. I think it was under 165.
I'm getting the Canon S95 today. The best point and shoot pocket camera that's out right now... but it's expensive. You can find used Canon S90's on Craigslist for around $225... of course you can always offer less. The S90 is a great camera. (there is an old thread about it). http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/recommended-cameras.htm#pocket
Re: Re: Best Point & Shoot Camera For Less Than $150 WHERE U BUYING MIGHT PICK ONE UP. IT WAS 299 ON NEWEGG x
S95 is only $229 on amazon today only as their deal of the day. Awesome camera. they're coming out with the S100 which has a few more options soon but it'll be $399.
